Hoh Rainforest ...March 10, 2019

Taking the winding road along a glacier fed river, we journey into the mystical Hoh Rainforest. At this time of year, with a mix of sun, rain, hail and snow, the forest is almost silent hosting very few tourists. Beautiful trails twisting through skyscraping gigantic trees, some of which fall to the big winds and age, blanketed with mosses and ferns in every hue of green imaginable. This is just one of the many wonderlands of the Olympic National Park in NW Washington state, initially set aside for future generations and protected from further development by the US Government back in March of 1909.
